Introduces the surgical specialties of general; gastro- enterology, gynecology; ophthalmology; otorhinolaryngology; dental; oral and maxillofacial; plastic and reconstructive; pediatrics; oncology; neurosurgery; orthopedics; cardiac; thoracic; vascular; transplant; and trauma in a laboratory and clinical experience.

Lecture 4 hours. Laboratory 15 hours. Total 19 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): SUR 145.
Corequisite: BIO 142, SUR 250.
