PHY 100 - Elements of Physics

Covers basic concepts of physics, including Newtonian mechanics, properties of matter, heat and sound, fundamental behavior of gases, ionizing radiation, and fundamentals of electricity. This is a Passport and UCGS Transfer Course.

Lecture: 3 hours per week Laboratory: 3 hours per week. Total: 6 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): Eligible for MTH 161.
Corequisite: PHY 100 lab.
