DMS 231 - Clinical Education I Course ID 541389

Develops the students’ ultrasonic skills in a diagnostic environment; may include on campus labs, private office settings, as well as hospital rotations. May include experiences in abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, and small parts scanning, as well as echocardio- graphy and vascular sonography. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
Clinical 15 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the DMS program.
