DMS 211 - Abdominal Sonography Course ID 541391

Examines the clinical applications within the specialty of abdominal sonography including interpretation of normal and abnormal sonographic patters, pathology, related clinical signs and symptoms, normal variants and clinical laboratory tests. Includes laboratory sessions on basic scanning techniques and protocols. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
Lecture: 3 hours. Laboratory: 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
