Emphasizes experimental and theoretical aspects of inorganic, organic, and biological chemistry. Discusses general chemistry concepts as they apply to issues within our society and environment. Designed for non-science majors.
Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): CHM 101 Corequisite: CHM 102 lab. Credit toward graduation will not be awarded for both CHM 101 and CHM 111 . CHM 101 and CHM 102 will not satisfy the lab science requirement for the AS in Physical and Natural Science.
