CHM 101 - Introduction to Chemistry I4 Credits
Explores the experimental and theoretical concepts of general chemistry while emphasizing scientific reasoning, critical and analytical thinking. Designed for the non-science major. This is a Passport Transfer course.
Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): Eligible for ENG 111 and MTH 154. Corequisite: Corequisites: CHM 101 lab. Credit toward graduation will not be awarded for both CHM 101 and CHM 111 . CHM 101 and CHM 102 will not satisfy the lab science requirement for the AS in Physical and Natural Science.
