Explores the fundamental laws, theories, and mathematical concepts of chemistry. Designed primarily for science and engineering majors. This is a Passport Transfer course.

Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.

Prerequisite(s): Eligible for MTH 161.
Corequisite: Corequisites: MTH 161. Credit for graduation will not be awarded for both CHM 112 and CHM 102.
