PVCC’s Division of Community Self-Sufficiency Programs (CSS) focuses on connecting jobseekers to jobs and careers that pay family-sustaining wages. PVCC’s CSS Division houses two programs: Network2Work@PVCC and Thomas Jefferson Adult and Career Education (TJACE).
Network2Work@PVCC’s innovative framework matches no- and low-wage workers to jobs offered through its network of employers and connects those jobseekers to the skills training and supports they need to get, keep, and excel in those jobs.
TJACE focuses on helping adults build their core skills, such as reading, writing, speaking and math. TJACE also helps adults acquire their high school diploma or GED.
The Community Self-Sufficiency Division serves PVCC’s service region including the city of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson.
