Developmental/Co-Requisite Courses

Developmental courses (MDE 10, MDE 60, EDE 10 and ESL courses) will not count toward meeting graduation requirements and will not transfer to four-year institutions. 

Co-requisite courses (MDE 54; MDE 61; EDE 11; and ESL courses) will not count toward graduation requirements and will not transfer to four-year institutions. 

The grades used in the developmental education curriculum are S (satisfactory) and U (unsatisfactory). A grade of S is awarded to a student upon achievement of all the objectives required for the course. A grade of U is awarded to the student making unsatisfactory progress.
