Description: The Associates of Business Management degree is designed for individuals who aim to enter the workforce or advance their careers in management roles. This program offers a flexible curriculum, empowering students to select specialized areas concentration aligned with their professional aspirations and industry preferences. Whether focusing on accounting, information technology, medical management, or other business sectors, students acquire a comprehensive understanding of fundamental management principles while honing specific skill sets vital for success in their chosen field of practice.

Career Objectives: Career development for individuals seeking positions such as management trainee, supervisor, department head, office manager, manager of a small business, construction manager, or an administrative assistant.

Stackable Pathways: This program is stackable with several cross-disciplinary, for-credit certificate programs at PVCC, enabling students to apply up to 18 credits earned in those programs toward the completion of the Business Management degree.

Civic Engagement: Students in this degree program are required to take at least one Civic Engagement (CE) course to graduate.  The civic engagement course for this program is BUS 100  .  

 

Total Minimum Credits: 61


Students may substitute a higher-level math course for MTH 154 - Quantitative Reasoning  and  MTH 245 - Statistics I   

Introductory (101 or 102 level) foreign language courses will not meet the humanities elective requirement for this program.
