Career Studies Certificate
Code: 221-516-01
Purpose: This three semester certificate is designed to give students a broad exposure to tools for work in Computer Graphics and Multimedia, and develop work-ready skills in chosen design concentrations. Graduates will be able to work with a range of technology to create and edit professional level multimedia and graphics products. In addition, the Graphic & Media Arts CSC will help each student assemble a coherent portfolio and professional online presence which clearly displays their skills to prospective employers..
Occupational Objectives: Successful graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions in one of the following concentration areas:
- Print Graphic Design
- Web Graphic Design
- UI / UX Design
- Multimedia Arts & Animation
- Film & Video Editing
- Motion Design

Total minimum credits: 28
Students must complete at least two courses in one concentration listed below and must compete two elective courses. Electives can be any course or combination of courses from any concentration area. A student may also complete an additional concentration by taking at least two courses for another concentration.
