Purpose: This program is designed for students interested in electronic systems, advanced manufacturing, and related fields. Program graduates may pursue in-demand employment in manufacturing, mechatronics, robotics, electronics, and related fields.
Occupational Objective: Career development for individuals seeking positions such as electronics technician, consumer product technician, industrial electronics technician, field services technician, communications technician, mechatronics technician, or engineering technician.
Graduation Requirement: Students entering this degree program are required to take one Writing Intensive Course (WIC) in order to graduate. The WIC for this program is ELE 239 or ETR 286 which has a prerequisite of ENG 111 and a corequisite of ENG 112 .
Students in all degree programs are required to take at least one Civic Engagement (CE) course to graduate. The CE course for this program is ETR 286 .
