Purpose:  This program is designed for students interested in mechanical systems, advanced manufacturing, machine design, and related fields.  Program graduates may pursue in-demand employment in computer-aided design and manufacturing, mechatronics, robotics, maintenance, and related fields.  

Occupational Objective:  Career development for individuals seeking positions such as mechanical manufacturing technician, consumer product technician, field service technician, machinist, mechatronics technician, and engineering technician.  

Graduation Requirements:  Students entering this degree program are required to take one Writing Intensive Course (WIC) in order to graduate.  The WIC for this program is ELE 239  or ETR 286  which has a prerequisite of ENG 111  and a corequisite of ENG 112 .

Students in all degree programs are required to take at least one Civic Engagement (CE) course to graduate. The CE course for this program is ETR 286 .
