Purpose: This program is designed for students interested in mechanical systems, advanced manufacturing, machine design, and related fields. Program graduates may pursue in-demand employment in computer-aided design and manufacturing, mechatronics, robotics, maintenance, and related fields.
Occupational Objective: Career development for individuals seeking positions such as mechanical manufacturing technician, consumer product technician, field service technician, machinist, mechatronics technician, and engineering technician.
Graduation Requirement: Students entering this degree program are required to take one writing intensive course in order to graduate. The writing intensive course fro this program is ETR 239 or ETR 286 which has a prerequistie of ENG 111 and a co-requistie of ENG 112.
