SUR 150 - Surgical Instrumentation

Introduces surgical instrumentation, supplies, and equipment used in the operating room for surgical procedures. Includes identification of instruments based on use, type, function, and design. Emphasizes use of surgical instruments to perform safely and effectively in the operating room environment. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.

Lecture: 2 hours 2 hours per week
