Covers basic concepts of physics, including Newtonian mechanics, properties of matter, heat and sound, fundamental behavior of gases, ionizing radiation, and fundamentals of electricity. This is a Passport and UCGS Transfer Course.

Prerequisite(s): MDE 60 or MTH 131 or higher level math course. .
Corequisite: PHY 100 lab.
