MTE 6 - Exponents, Factoring and Polynomial Equations1 Credits
The student will learn to perform operations on exponential expressions and polynomials. Students will also learn techniques to factor polynomials and use these techniques to solve polynomial equations. Emphasis on learning all the different factoring methods and solving appliciton problems using polynomial equations.
Lecture 3 hours per week; Lab 1 hour per week.
Prerequisite(s): MTE 5 or qualifying placement score.
