Introduces students to the central service area of health care facilities and the responsibilities and role of the Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Explores the practical application of concepts and procedures, such as regulations and standards, safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), universal precautions, and the work flow of the central service department.
