EMS 152 - Advanced EMT Completion2 Credits
Continues the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services Advanced, Intermediate, and/or Paramedic curricula. Includes patient assessment, differential diagnosis and management of multiple complaints. Includes, but are not limited to conditions related to diabetic, neurological, abdominal pain, environmental, behavioral, gynecology, and toxicological disease conditions. Also includes Advanced EMT level cardiat, trauma, and special population topics.
Lecture 1 hour per week, Lab 2 hours per week. Total 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): Current EMT certification.
Corequisite: EMS 151 .
