CHM 242 - Organic Chemistry II

3 Credits

Introduces fundamental chemistry of carbon compounds, including structures, physical properties, syntheses, and typical reactions. Emphasizes reaction mechanisms.

Prerequisite(s): CHM 112  is a prerequisite for CHM 241 . CHM 241  and CHM 243  are prerequisites for CHM 242.
Corequisite: CHM 243  lab for CHM 241  and CHM 244  lab for CHM 242.
